Welcome!
Message from Lan
Welcome to my website and thank you for taking the time to get acquainted with me. I have been dancing ballet for over 20 years since I was a little girl growing up in China. I have been blessed to realize my childhood dream of dancing professionally and sharing my passion for ballet with audiences from around the world.
I am privileged to have danced professionally with the Shanghai Ballet Company in China for 13 years, and to continue my career as a ballet teacher in the United States. Through ballet, I have made lifelong friends, and gained a deeper appreciation for the performing arts as a vital creative outlet for individual expression and portrayal of timeless human drama through movement. I believe ballet can bring communities together to celebrate human achievement in the arts and inspire them to extend the boundries of human potential.
I have been fortunate to have trained under caring instructors who taught me how to dance and nurtured my love of dancing. I hope to share my passion for ballet with the next generation of dancers and help them realize their full potential as individuals and dancers.
